Artist, curator and art entrepreneur
"For two decades, I built a career as a graphic designer, actor, and filmmaker. Yet three years ago, I realized that despite having launched projects like my worldwide photo series Usual Routes, I’d never seen myself as an artist. That changed when I began drawing, painting, and creating participatory performances and installations—these became my main focus. Alongside this, I continue to explore body movement through photo and video collaborations.
When I moved to Mexico two years ago, my friends and I launched the Ayarkut Foundation. A year later, I left to create my own art platform, Culto Colecta. Through this platform, I support young and emerging artists with pop-up exhibitions and online sales, aiming to cultivate a new generation of collectors and to make contemporary art more accessible."
